Legal
Terms of service
Effective date: July 11, 2026
Please read this carefully. These terms include a binding arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver that affect how disputes between us are resolved, and they limit our liability to you. By using Frontsheet you agree to them.
Who we are
Frontsheet is owned and operated by JRO Enterprises, LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("Frontsheet," "we," "us"). These terms are a legal agreement between you and us. By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using Frontsheet, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions go to hello@frontsheet.com.
Who can use Frontsheet
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use Frontsheet for a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" means both you and that business. You are responsible for everything done under your account.
What Frontsheet is
Frontsheet offers two ways to work with us. One-time purchases: you give us a public website address, we read it, and we prepare finished business materials that you pay for once. The Frontsheet workspace: an account where your business information is kept, reviewed by you, and used to create materials over time. Frontsheet uses automated and Ai systems to prepare this work. The workspace is currently offered as an early-access beta and may change as we build it out.
Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so you are responsible for keeping that email account secure and for all activity under your account. Each workspace is meant for a single business. Don't share access to get around plan or usage limits. Tell us promptly at support@frontsheet.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable use
Use Frontsheet lawfully and only as these terms allow. You agree not to:
- submit a website, file, or content you don't own or don't have the rights and authority to have us read and process;
- submit or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, harmful, or that violates anyone's privacy or other rights;
- probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, or introduce malware or injection attempts;
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or try to extract our software, models, prompts, or templates, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- resell, sublicense, or use Frontsheet or its outputs to build or train a competing product or service;
- access the service through automated means or circumvent our security, rate limits, or access controls;
- use outputs for spam, fraud, or to misrepresent their origin where disclosure is required by law.
What you promise about your content
For every website, file, or piece of content you submit, you represent that you own it or are authorized to submit it, that it is accurate, and that our reading, processing, and preparation of materials from it will not infringe any right or violate any law. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for how you use what we prepare.
Ai-generated materials and your review
Frontsheet prepares materials using automated and Ai systems. Everything we prepare starts as a draft and can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any material before you rely on it or use it commercially. Frontsheet does not provide legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and our materials are not a substitute for it. We are not liable for decisions you make or actions you take based on unreviewed drafts or on the accuracy of any output.
Who owns what
You own the content you put into Frontsheet, and once a one-time purchase is paid in full you own the finished materials we prepared for you. To operate the service we need a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you; we don't use it for anything beyond running your account. We own Frontsheet itself — the software, models, prompts, templates, designs, and underlying technology — and nothing in these terms transfers that to you. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
Payment, subscriptions, and refunds
One-time purchases are charged at checkout through our payment processor. Because they are custom digital materials delivered to you, all sales are final once delivered, except that if a delivered piece is materially defective or not as described, we will redo or refund it if you email support@frontsheet.com within 14 days of delivery. We don't offer refunds for change of mind, for not reviewing a draft, or for business results.
Recurring plans, where offered, renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and your plan stays active through the end of the current period; fees already paid are non-refundable and we don't pro-rate partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes. We may change prices for future purchases or renewals with advance notice. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved.
Chargebacks and payment fraud
If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first at support@frontsheet.com and we'll work it out. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first, or filing one that is fraudulent, is a breach of these terms. In that case we may suspend or close your account, revoke access to materials, and recover the disputed amount plus any fees and reasonable costs we incur.
Fair use and service limits
We may set and enforce reasonable usage limits to keep the service healthy and affordable to run. Automated, bulk, or excessive use that places a disproportionate load or cost on the service — or using Frontsheet to produce materials for third parties as a service without our agreement — may be throttled, suspended, or billed.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Frontsheet and ask us to delete your workspace at any time by emailing support@frontsheet.com. We may suspend or terminate access — without refund — if you breach these terms, misuse or abuse the service, create risk or legal exposure for us, or engage in fraud or chargeback abuse. On termination, your right to use the service and any unpaid-for materials ends; sections meant to survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) remain in effect.
Beta features
The workspace and other features marked beta or early-access are still in development. They are provided as is, may change or be withdrawn, may not always work, and shouldn't be relied on for critical operations. Feedback is welcome.
Third-party services
Frontsheet relies on third parties for things like payments, hosting, and Ai processing. We are not responsible for their acts, outages, or failures, and your use may also be subject to their terms.
Disclaimers
We work hard to make Frontsheet useful, but THE SERVICE AND ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR UNINTERRUPTED. Some places don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRONTSHEET WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits apply to the fullest extent allowed where you live; some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, and there our liability is limited as much as the law permits.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JRO Enterprises, LLC and its owners and personnel from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of the content or websites you submit, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms or of anyone's rights.
Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes are resolved and limits your options.
First, let's talk. Before starting a formal proceeding, email us at hello@frontsheet.com describing the issue, and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
If we can't, you and we agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized U.S. arbitration provider, rather than in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and Frontsheet waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or member in any class or representative action.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@frontsheet.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms; if you opt out, disputes proceed in the courts described below. This section survives termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington. Where the law where you live gives you stronger consumer or privacy protections, we honor those protections.
General
These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours, for example in connection with a sale of the business. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may send you notices by email or by posting in the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll post updates here with a new effective date, and for material changes we'll give reasonable notice. Continuing to use Frontsheet after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are provided for clarity and are not a substitute for legal advice.
